The Bellevue Indoor Range is currently looking for Range Shift Supervisors

Bellevue Indoor Range at Wade's Eastside Guns is the Pacific Northwest's premier public indoor range. The pistol range is available to everyone from the fearful first timer to the veteran marksman.

The range offers 16 public lanes at 50', 8 lanes at 75' in the Member's Bay, 8 premium private firing booths, and an open training bay for movement and classes. All firing booths are equipped with lighting and an automatic target retrieval system.

The range is connected to our retail store, Wade's Eastside Guns which offers a full line of rifles, shotguns, handguns, optics, ammo, holsters, and other accessories. The retail shop is open from 10am-7pm Monday to Saturday.

Summary:

The Range Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the firearm range. The primary duty of a Range Supervisor is to ensure the safety of all individuals, staff, and patrons, of the range. The Range Supervisor must comply, maintain, and enforce all policies, regulations, and procedures set forth by the management team. Other job duties include, but is not limited to, training/coaching of staff, scheduling staff, performing staff performance reviews and disciplines, customer conflict resolution, managing cash drawers, minor firearm maintenance, minor facility maintenance, inventory management, maintaining and demonstrating thorough knowledge of firearms and laws regarding the firearm industry. In addition, the Range Supervisor must also be familiar with and be able to accomplish all responsibilities of Range Safety Officers. Finally, the Range Supervisor must be flexible in scheduling. The management team of range supervisors must be available by telephone at all reasonable times for emergencies and may be called in during off days.


Qualifications & Requirements:

-Be over the age of 18
-Be authorized to work in the United States
-Have a Washington State ID/DL or out-of-side equivalent
-Have reliable transportation to/from the facility
-Able to pass a pre-employment background check
-Able to perform pre-employment medical exam
-Able to have blood work done every 6-months
-Able to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
-Able to lift over 55lbs
-Able to bend/stoop/kneel/stand/walk for extended periods of time
-Able to wear full body personal protective equipment (Tyvek suit, respirator mask)
-Able to fluently speak and write English
-Able to articulate and remain calm under pressure
-Able to contact customers violating safety rules and teach them safe gun handling
-Must have a minimum of 2 years customer service experience
-Must have a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience

Full-Time Position Available:

**Upon completion of training and a 360 hour probationary period, a wage increase will be considered. However, the wage increase is dependent on experience and performance during the probationary period.
