Basic  Handgun  Safety

4 hour course.

If you are considering purchasing a handgun or already own one and are not yet confident in your gun handling skills, this class will provide you with the information and hands-on experience to safely & confidently operate handguns. Half of this course takes place in the classroom and the rest is live fire on the range.  This is also a great refresher for those with some experience however it is designed for new shooters.

Firearms, ammo, targets, and PPE will be provided. Students only need to bring their ID.

-THE PARENT/GUARDIAN OF A MINOR (ANYONE BELOW THE AGE OF 21) MUST ALSO BE TAKING THE SAME CLASS

-PREGNANT WOMEN ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE RANGE

    This includes firearms safety concepts and rules, as well as how to safely handle and operate them.

    How handguns work and the basics behind what is happening when you shoot.

    Proper usage of a firearm. How to hold it, proper trigger press, aiming, reloading etc.

  • Shooting Improvement

    How to diagnose what you’re doing right and wrong so you can improve as you continue to shoot.

  • Minor Malfunctions

    How to diagnose, troubleshoot and address basic malfunctions.

  • Confidence

    The best part in taking this class is the confidence you gain knowing how to safely & effectively use your pistol
